The Victor Cruz Foundation partners with Altice USA to provide 100 chrome books to the Paterson Public School Department. The devastating effects of COVID19 included many students learning from home, although not all may have been prepared to. After hearing the heartbreaking plea from his hometown’s school officials, Victor knew he had to spring into action.
In a statement, the former NY Giant and NFL Super Bowl Champion shared that “these are our future leaders and it was awful to hear that hundreds were struggling to continue their school year virtually due to a lack of technology. I’m happy to have been able to make a small dent in the need, but by no means will I stop until every student is equipped with the appropriate needs.”
