The six week curriculum wraps up in a Family Night, where instructors are encouraged to create an activity for the students to teach back what they’ve learned to family and friends.
The Sports in Science curriculum is a hands on, project based activities that encourage teamwork, collaboration, perseverance, and critical thinking themes that are also present in the National Football League and essential for NY Giants Victor Cruz’s success.
The six STEM concepts, Material Science, Newton’s Law of Motion, Nutrition Body Systems, Sound waves, and the Salsa Kinesiology, marry relevant academic themes taught in school to make DIY type activities cool, fun and hands on activities.
